SK Rent-a-Car Auto Auction is Korea’s first “one-stop auction platform” that provides comprehensive services—from used car auctions to vehicle reconditioning—all in one place.
SK Rent-a-Car Auto Auction spans approximately 89,000 square meters across four above-ground floors and three basement levels, with parking capacity for up to 3,000 vehicles which is the largest used car auction facility in Korea.
SK Rent-a-Car Auto Auction offers a full suite of on-site services covering the entire reconditioning process—including performance checks and detailed diagnostics, bodywork and painting, interior and exterior cleaning, disinfection and deodorization, and battery performance certification for electric vehicles.
All of these services are carried out within the facility’s state-of-the-art reconditioning center, known as the “PROOV Station.”
The PROOV Station at SK Rent-a-Car Auto Auction employs state-of-the-art technologies and inspection methods to provide clear, reliable information about each vehicle’s condition and performance.
It is the only auction facility in Korea equipped with an underbody scanning system that enables precise inspection of the vehicle’s underside. Additionally, an AI-powered exterior inspection system accurately detects damages that are difficult to identify with the naked eye and presents the results in an objective and transparent manner.
A large portion of the listed vehicles have been regularly serviced and meticulously maintained by SK Rent-a-Car, allowing auction participants to bid with confidence based on reliable and transparent information about vehicle condition.
Regular auctions are held every Tuesday afternoon, with approximately 1,000 vehicles listed per session.
In the mid to long term, the company plan to evolve beyond a conventional auction home and grow into Korea’s leading automotive distribution platform, with annual listings exceeding 100,000 vehicles.
