To create social value by reducing carbon emission, SK Rent-a-Car is transitioning all its fleet vehicles to eco-friendly EVs by stages. To demonstrate its commitment, SK Rent-a-Car participated in the Korean Pollution-free Vehicle Shift 100 (K-EV100) campaign launched by the Ministry of Environment in March, 2021 and joined the global initiative EV100 in November of the same year.
Furthermore, to enhance its eco-friendly EV rental fleet, SK Rent-a-Car issued green bonds for the first time since its incorporation in 2021, and received the Minister of Environment Award in 2022 for exceptional performance in EV transition.

With Korea's biggest 7,200kW-charging infrastructure capable of supporting 3,000 EVs, SK Rent-a-Car is turning Jeju into a venue of enjoyable experience where customers can use a variety of EVs brands.

'The ECO LOUNGE' located near Jungmun Tourism Complex in Seogwipo, Jeju Island is a cultural complex where EV users can take a break while having their cars recharged.
EV charging stations are open not only to SK Rent-a-Car patrons but also ordinary visitors, While charging their EVs, customers can take a break enjoying a wide assortment of food and beverages from the premium coffee roasting brand TerraRosa.
