Global Initiatives

  • SBTi

    Science Based Targets Initiatives

    SK Rent-a-Car joined the Science Based Targets Initiative(SBTi) in September 2022 with its parent company SK Networks and aimed to achieve Net-Zero by submitting GHG reduction targets for verification.

  • EV100

    Electric Vehicle 100

    SK Rent-a-Car joined the EV100 initiative of the Climate Group in October 2023 with its parent company SK Networks, striving to achieve 100% conversion to zero-emission vehicles by 2030.

  • K-EV100

    Korean Zero-Emission Vehicle Conversion 100

    In March 2021, SK Rent-a-Car joined the ministry of Environment’s K-EV100 initiative and publicly disclosed its progress. In recognition of our performance, we won the Minister of Environment Award for 2022 Corporate Excellence Performance of Conversion to Zero-Emission Vehicles.

    Obtained certification for an exemplary operation of the family-friendly system to support employees’ work-life balance

  • G-Smartlink(SaaS Simple Grade) Cloud Security Assurance Program(CSAP)

    Acquired the SaaS Cloud Security Assurance Program(CSAP) that meets the security requirements to apply the cloud service to public institutions for the first time in the mobility service sector based on the Smartlink services and launched G-Smartlink

Global Standards

SK Rent-a-Car transparently discloses its ESG performance and activities in accordance with global guidelines.
This Report was prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative Standards(GRI) and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board(SASB) guidelines. The climate actions and their management system reported and regularly updated were based on the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures(TCFD) recommendations.
